Although the site went live in October 2003, it's taken me two years to do this page, which I hope will be helpful, though most of it is pretty obvious.
Firstly, recommended reading; if you are new to this site, history is a good place to start, whilst the home and NEWS pages will get you up to date with what's currently going on with the magicgreyhounds team.
If you are also new to greyhound racing, the beginners guide should serve as a basic introduction.
There now follows a summary of what each page does:
home : a breakdown of the dogs in the magicgreyhounds team, and their current status.
history : a short story of how I got into the sport in the first place.
NEWS : containing up to the last two months, and updated at least weekly, and certainly every time any dog does anything, however bad, the most recent news is at the top.
2002 -2006 race records : these open up charts showing the basic details of all magicgreyhounds races that year.
win race record : a complicated looking chart, but really just a summary of all the magic dogs, their races, wins and percentages, graded and open class, by year, and overall to date.
race dogs : the current set of magic dogs that are racing or would be if they weren't injured or in season.
On the page, click on each dogs name to get a brief history, with more photos, of each dog.
Click on RACE RECORD to see complete form for the dog, and PEDIGREE for its home page from the greyhound-data website with all its breeding and other information accessible.
brood bitches, puppies, retired dogs, sold dogs : all work the same as the race dogs page above.
beginners guide : a basic guide to the UK greyhound racing scene, and a few pointers about betting and owning your own dog.
for sale : any magicgreyhounds dogs currently for sale will be listed here.
